Vegetarian Recipe Challenge is on! I am going to attempt to make all the recipes from “The Golden Temple Vegetarian Cookbook” by Yogi Bhajan.
This project is very dear to me. My mom worked at the Golden Temple Restaurant in Tucson while she lived at the Ashram. There was also one in Tempe that was beautiful! This was in the 70’s before I was born. These restaurants were located all over the USA. The most well known ones being in Los Angeles and Washington DC.
Vegetarian here is not vegan so there will be butter, ghee, cheese and other animal products. No animal flesh though.
I will be journaling about how it was to make them, the challenges, how I felt, how it tasted and everything else that comes up! This is what conscious eating is all about.
