Overnight oats is one of the easiest breakfast foods ever!
You just put in a glass the night before any kind of milk or yogurt you like – regular milk, yogurt, almond milk, coconut milk, greek yogurt…. then add any kind of grain you like rolled oats, granola, regular oats, nuts, berries and/or fruit. I like to add chia seeds to add protein and lower the Glycemic Index (GI).
I usually start with the chia seeds then add the milk and then layer the fruit, grain and top it with nuts, cinnamon. If you need to sweeten it up use a healthy sweetener like honey, coconut nectar, stevia. I do a drizzle of honey right before I eat it.
