Mango Lassi Recipe for a delicious refreshing healthy drink! A traditional Indian drink, that when made right will be almost like a dessert for you.
Mango Lassi is an excellent food for both women and men. Mangoes are good for correcting liver and menstrual disorders, and poor eyesight. In Indian scriptures, a woman’s sexuality is represented by the pickled mango! It is one of the most powerful sexual foods for women. When you eat mangoes, you need to have yogurt or milk to balance their acidity. Mangoes and milk are very complementary, having a good protein-sugar balance. The are over thirty varieties of mangoes growing in tropical climates. Their mineral and vitamin contents vary: Some are high in iron, others in calcium; some are low in vitamins A and C and others overflow with rich vitamin content.
- 2 cups homemade yogurt
- 2 medium mangoes (very ripe)
- 3 Tbsp maple syrup or honey
- 6 ice cubes
- 1/8 tsp rose water
Peel and slice mangoes. Put all ingredients in the blender and blend at high speed.
