Blueberry Ginger Smoothie is packed with antioxidants and is dairy free and gluten free. Antioxidants help clean your body of free radicals which can make you unhealthy and age prematurely. If you are feeling like you might have a cold skip the banana since like dairy it can create mucous. You can use half of a small avocado instead and still get the benefit of the potassium and other great nutrients and healthy oil.
- 1 cup almond milk (or milk of choice)
- ¼ cup blueberries
- 1 frozen banana
- 2 slices of ginger or 3 tablespoons of ginger juice.
BLEND all ingredients together in VitaMix or other high power blender such as the Ninja.
