Basmati rice is super easy and quick to make. It is a great side dish because it can pretty much go with anything! Rice is good for Blood Type AB and neutral to all the other types. Gluten free and contains lectin.
Serves 4
Ingredients:
- 1.5 cups basmati rice
- 2 tablespoons of ghee or butter
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper (optional)
- 3 cups of water
Directions:
In saucepan heat ghee and then add rice. Stir rice in medium heat for one minute. Add hot water and spices and bring to a boil. Cover and put on low heat to simmer for 18 minutes (until water dries out). Serve hot.
