Today for breakfast I decided to have a banana smoothie. But I did not want a plain everyday one. I was craving something different and wanted to use some stuff I had on the fridge before it was bad. So I took the Banana St. John Recipe from Yogi Bhajan and added a twist of my own.
Here is my Banana Smoothie Recipe:
3/4 cup of milk (I used almond)
1 ripe banana
1 tablespoon of honey
1 tablespoon of carob powder
1 good pinch of mint leaves or dried peppermint
Place all ingredients in an electric blender and purée. Serve immediately.
